Moving iPhone Photos to Windows? Use JPEGs for Smooth Sailing

iPhone meets Windows—
HEIC won’t always play nice.
JPEGs travel well.

Transferring lots of photos from your iPhone to a Windows PC running ACDSee? For best results, connect your iPhone with a USB cable and use the Windows Photos app or File Explorer to import images. ACDSee can then scan your import folder. To avoid compatibility issues, set your iPhone to capture photos as “Most Compatible” (JPEG) instead of HEIC: go to Settings > Camera > Formats and select Most Compatible. Skip screenshots and Apple’s proprietary formats if ACDSee can’t open them—stick to JPEGs and standard videos for smooth importing.
